ABOUT US
Fetching Hearts Rescue is a Connecticut-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of dogs who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned.

Operating as a purely volunteer-run and foster-based network, we ensure that every dog in our care transitions directly into a supportive home environment rather than remaining in a kennel. This model allows for a comprehensive assessment of each dog’s temperament and health, ensuring an optimal match for their forever home.

Our Commitment
-
Regional & National Reach: We partner with local Connecticut animal control services and high-kill shelters across the South to rescue dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
-
Comprehensive Care: Every dog is "fully vetted" prior to adoption. This includes:
-
Current vaccinations
-
Spay/neuter surgery
-
Heartworm testing (negative status)
-
Microchipping
-

Our mission is centered on transforming the lives of vulnerable animals by providing the medical care and loving environments they deserve.
