I knew I was a dog lover when 11 years ago, I went to the humane society and fell in love with the cute Pomeranian named Cotton. I brought him home and re-named him Tucker. He was the best dog I could have ever asked for.
As time went on, I realized I needed to help these homeless and helpless dogs. I joined the rescue world and have since been helping dogs out. In Jan of 2017, Tucker passed away pretty sudden on me. My whole world came crashing down and thought I would never be able to get another dog again. I went to transport one day and this sweet girl came running off the truck and jumped into my arms. It was instant love!! Kaylee is now mine and she is such an amazing girl. Most recent, I also just adopted another dog who had such a tough life prior. Her name is Blondie and her and Kaylee just love running around and being together.
These dogs are the reason I felt the need to continue and go even further to start a dog rescue. The rescue will be in memory of Tucker. He was not only my best friend, but he inspired me to help all these dogs who are now in need of loving homes.
