Meet Button!! The quote cute as a button really fits this girl!! Button is currently living in a foster with 6 other dogs. Even though she is a young and puppy, she likes to hang with the big dogs. She plays like she is a big dog already. She is a silly girl and loves to play. When she is ready for a nap, she will go and find her foster to cuddle up with her and nap. Button's foster says that she is very smart and learns very quickly. She will make a great family dog!! She likes her doggie beds and crate where she likes her quiet time with her toys. She is currently working on her leash and potty training. Button is a great girl and will love to play outside, go for walks and play tug-a-war with you or her sibling. With a dog her age, you need to make sure you have lots of time, attention and patience's. You don't to leave them longer than 4 hours a day until older. He is still young, so now is the time to get her into training classes and spending all the time you can with her. Button will be waiting to meet you!! If you would like more information on Button, please contact Shari at Screening.FetchingHearts@gmail.com
ABOUT OUR DOGS:

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

  • Thorough veterinary examination

  • All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention.

Spay/Neuter:
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

Vetting Note:
Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

Heartworm Note:

Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
